The libretto for this production sprang from the shared love of director Michael Shannon and designer Mare Tommingas for the music of George Gershwin and the splendid personalities in Paris from the 1920s to the 1950s in the fields of the fine arts, theatre and fashion – such as Romain de Tirtoff (Erté), Elsa Schiaparelli, Miró, Josephine Baker and Salvador Dalí. These creators, who shaped their era and the future, are playfully and readily entwined into a whole by the production team – there is a love triangle, the accompanying temptations and intrigues, fine choreography and magnificent music.

Premiere on 24.10.2015, the Vanemuine Small Building.
Attention! Limited visibility from rows 2 – 4 of side balcony in Small Building of Vanemuine.
